Default Army Of One (orchestra/choir/kitchen sink)

Hi Guys,
havent posted anything in a very long time but thought I'd share this one titled ARMY OF ONE.
its a big noisey trailer like cue,..its still a pre-mix and I intend to add some live players (aggressive cellos) eventually.
I'm aware of the unending avalanche of epic choir tracks but sometimes you have to follow the money.
I'm still working on the balance/mix between choir and orchestra, let me know what you think, thanks.)

Sounds great. Good work on the choirs too, sounds very realistic.

Nice piece. Look forward to what you do with some live performances mixed in.

Are you the one who got to perform back-up for Michael LeGrand about a year or so ago? Guitar?

Thanks alot Christerholm!

I know this is yet another epic style track,I normally write more understated cues using Electronic and Orchestra but the trailer guys dont want it!

Damn, I'll admit I had grown a little tired of hearing epic choir tracks here, but this one was really good.

Hey Sherief,

you are way too kind!
Its great to hear from you again too and I'm really happy you liked the track!
This is a big noisy choir cue I know but still a challenge and lots of fun!

Im concentrating on structure and mixing at the moment, which is a never ending quest,
I recently had a track recorded and mixed in Windmill lane studios here in Dublin and I have to say getting the pros to mix the tracks is the way to go if budget allows.

Anyone recommend waves plug-ins for Eq,compression etc ?

Dean.

Pure epicness. Great job! I miss some low end, the mix doesn't sit well imho. (for example I can't hear a drum kick, I'd love to hear more drum punch).
Choir is great.

Cheers!

Thanks Paul,
Yeah, cant wait to add live cellos.
Im going to get this mixed in another studio soon,as the mix could be alot better over all so I'Il let the pros do it.

re backing up Michael Le Grand,..No, not me Im afraid.

thanks,
Dean.
