Hi there! This is my first time on the forums, and I'm a new user to Gold edition...and loving it! I just thought I'd post my first two attempts at compositions, and see what people say
They are both inspired by the saga Beowulf, one is a feast dance and the other is background music. I'd be very grateful for any hints/criticisms, both as regards the music itself, and the sound (I have no experience in mixing/mastering whatsoever) Thanks The journey: http://www.soundclick.com/util/strea...D=2417075&q=Hi The feast dance: http://www.soundclick.com/util/strea...D=2417059&q=Hi |

I'm not very qualified to give mixing advice either.
I'll leave that to those with more experience. Heheheh.I will say I enjoyed your two pieces very much, both in instrumentation, and development. |

Hi!
I listened to The Journey itīs good till 55 sec. After 55sec it seems to become mono (intentionally?), so itīs hard to say something about mixing. The music itself is not bad, but I could say more if the quality after 55 sec would be better. But maybe this occured due to a streaming errror. Iīll try later. Best, Michael |
