Default HS Diamond includes Gold?

Sorry if this is a repost, the first post I submitted didn't show up.

Question: I own the diamond edition of hollywood strings, but it comes with both the "gold" library and the "hollywood strings" library (which I assume is the diamond/full version, despite it not saying so). Are the "gold" files (samples/instruments/multis) included in the "hollywood strings library", or do I have to copy both folders to have access to both libraries?

I just want to avoid copying duplicate data, and I'm suspecting that the Gold library was included on the drive for people who only buy the gold version. There doesn't seem to be any clear answer to this on the FAQs, so if anyone who currently owns the diamond could respond I would be GREATLY appreciative.

Diamond users can apply for a second free license (placed in the same iLok account) for either Diamond or Gold, but you can't use both on the same computer, one is intended for a slave.

Ok, thanks for your response. From it I gather that the smaller "gold" patches are not included in the "hollywood wood strings library" folder, and cannot be used with the Diamond license as I had previously thought. Can you confirm this?

Also, can you instruct me how I could go about applying for the second free license?

All I can tell you is that on the hard drive I received, both Gold and Diamond were included. I started out with Gold, then was fortunate enough to win a copy of Diamond from EW. All I had to do was use a new authorization to license the product and run the same drive to move up to Diamond. I don't know what is on the drive you received though, so can't guarantee yours is the same as mine. Personally, because both libraries would have ended up on the same machine (see Admin's post), I removed Gold before I installed Diamond. Gold could still go on a slave though. Hope that helps.
