Jackles - their policy changed pretty much after they released HS. They kept getting so much negativity regarding the release being pushed back, it had to change. I vaguely remember Doug Rogers (or another one of the high-ups) posting here about their reluctance to pre-announce release dates after what happened with Hollywood Strings. It will be announced when they are ready and confident of being able to meet an announced specific release-date.

I actually agree with Dom. Although Nick, Doug, and Thomas might like the questions and the longing for their instruments.

So if it bugs them, I'd say stop it. If they like it...keep it coming.

Don't post your entire studio in the signature area. We only need to know your DAW and what you have from EWQL.

First of all, they kind of announced HW as far back as when they recorded it. So they do talk about some of their stuffs before it's released.
They announced the entire Hollywood series at the same time. There have been many delays with their products before so they've stopped talking about release dates. Notice how Solo Violin didn't have any tentative release date--it just popped right out after one inconclusive thread testing the "sound" out. They announce little things here and there, but they're very careful about what they say and make sure not to announce dates that might bite them in the butt. For instance...remember the integration of WordBuilder into Play? That was announced as soon as Symphonic Choirs was released, and then there was delay after delay. And Play Pro...and Forbidden Planet...same story.

It's not quiet so. Solo Violin was set on the last decade of December but released far in January as I remember.
