Default Mors Ego Sum Mortis (Final Fantasy VI inspired)

Jeremy and I have again collaborated to bring you a Cantata based on various themes surrounding the Final Fantasy VI character "Kefka." Mors Ego Sum Mortis is the first of four movements. Jeremy and I both hope you enjoy it. Please let us know what you think. To listen, please follow the link below.

For anyone who cares here is a new HQ link to Mors Ego Sum Mortis

Enjoy!

Amazing! For those who are not familiar with Kefka, he is one of the very few antagonists who actually live up to their words (He destroys the world). Along with the best maniacal laugh in the entire gaming industry, Kefka makes for the best supervillain in the world!

This rendition of the opening song/Kefka's theme is exactly what the Final Fantasy franchise needs -- high quality interpretations of the old Nobuo Uematsu (the game composer) soundtracks for the Super Nintendo.

Bravo guys, I'm truly impressed! I hope you continue to dazzle us with more Final Fantasy tunes!

What a positive first post! How ever did you know there was a second movement?

Good music guys.

If you read my original post Andy you'd see how someone would know about a second movement coming. But just to let you in on a secret, Laura "Yadda" is my wife lol. Thank you for your comment

Hey D,

I figured it was your wife or friend. I hope my post didn't come off as too sarcastic, it's just that this forum is a pretty friendly and laid-back place so usually people will just bump their own threads up as opposed to getting someone else to do it. I've done it more than once!

Welcome to the Forum (you too Yadda),

Andy

I actually didn't want her to do it. I told her the night I posted it that it was on the soundsonline forum. Since she wasn't a member she signed up and posted anyway lol. Even though I appreciated it I didn't want any biased opinions about the piece. I wanted real solid evaluations. When I read her post I just put my head in my hands and laughed. Pretty funny. But I love her

Thank you for the welcoming. I really do like it here. Other than ocremix, this is the only site I like posting my music on because people actually listen to it, and they actually give their honest opinion. So thank you Andy

Thumbs up

Very nice job. I´m really impressed with the choirs too - must have taken a h*** of a time.

So did you (here meaning the two of you )transfer it directly from Finale to the Sonar?

Mathias
