So did you (here meaning the two of you )transfer it directly from Finale to the Sonar?

Thank you for your comments TYS. To answer your question, Finale wasn't even used to do this. Jeremy (genius) writes all this music in sonar. Get this.. he doesn't even use keyboards, he just uses manual note placement (I do that too). It's more accurate in my opinion and easier if you know how to do it, but anyways the real shocker is that he arranged and composed all of the midi data in less than 12 hours. He messaged me to tell me that he was starting on something at 5:00AM and by 3:00PM he transfers the file to me. Incredible huh.. it took me 2 full weeks of 8 hour days to sample this puppy. I also had to articulate each instrument, add all crescendos, decrescendos, etc.. It was a lot of work but it turned out awesome so I'm very happy that so many people are listening Thanks again TYS!

Hi Derek,

The mastering of SC is really great, and orchestral parts are stunning, brass remind the talent of a John Williams, not less ! Did you use SO silver also for this one ?

Jerome

Hello Jerome. Thank you for listening and your comments. Yah the choir was a big challenge. This was the first big project I've used them on so it was a learning experience As far as the brass I'll break it down for you.

Trumpets = legato sustain SAM Trumpets, staccato hits= EWQL XP
French Horns = Vienna Epic Horns
Trombone, Tuba = EWQL GOLD XP PRO

Again thank you for listening Jerome!

Nice job! Orchestration sounds very good as well as Choir. I really like this one. Definitely lots of work to put up with something like this.

Great music

Nash,

I appreciate your comments. It did take a lot of work but anything worth doing is worth taking a lot of time. I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

Very nice music guys.

The choirs do sound very convincing indeed. (I also input notes, without a keyboard, but with finale). Sounds very well made. Not really fond of the orchestration tbh, as it sounds a little... less fat than I would like it, but other than that lovely!

Thank you for your comments. Yes I know about the orchestration being thin in some areas. Unfortunatly this is because we had to turn down the volume a little on the instruments in order for the choir to blend correctly. Thanks for posting!
