Default Future additions to EWQLSO Plat. Pro Exp (Play) ?

Hi,

I'm curious to know if EWQLSO Plat. Pro Expanded will see any complementing additions (in "Play" format) after the main "Play" format of this library is released ? and what parts of EWQLSO Plat. Pro Exp. do you think need additional sample material ? (i.e. More specialized strings ? or more Woodwinds ? ...etc.) to take it to the next level.

Thanks.

Interesting, No replies, or any feedback to this post for a quite a while ... I wonder why ?

I'm sure this is something many users would be looking forward to (No Orch. sample library is complete).

So, will there be any future complementing additions in (PLAY format) to look forward to, after the main release of the EWQLSO Plat. Pro Exp. (PLAY) version ?

Thanks.

I'd like to see more articulations for chamber strings. And don't neglect the violas!

New instruments: contrabass clarinet, euphonium, maybe a 2 or 3 horn unison for those occasions when 6 is just too many.

Cool add ons

Yes I agree it would be a good thing. Something like this would also keep old clients coming back to ew. not only for orchestra add ons but other libraries like Choirs I would love to have gospel or pop choirs with word builder

I'm pretty excited about the upcoming developments to EWQLSO. As I have said in other threads, I have sort of returned to using the sounds and they are great.

We have plans for a strings collection in studio 1 after the studio construction is finished.

I would love to see this:

A modulation matrix. Not with synthesized effects, but the routing chooses the samples.
For example, you choose a basic expression, then you choose what is going to happen at the mod wheel, pedal or velocity etc. according to those choices, the appropriate sample sets are being loaded. It would make it easier to sift through hundreds of individual pre-made expressions.

Another thing would be helpful to let users add a text comment to each instrument/expression that is being displayed each time the instrument is listed in the browser. This way it would be possible to tag things e.g. according to mood. Then a sort feature could easily sort things by comment, or name, whatever, just like the columns in the system finder or the windows equivalent.

I´m a Gold XP user and I would like to see saxophones included in the woodwind and more different mutes fot the brass (cup, harmon, hat etc). Today you need to invest in a jazz library to get these samples

Hi Doug,

Thank You for the feedback. It's great to know that there are plans for future additions to EWQLSO, and I'm quite confident that your future plans will take this library to the next level of excellence !

Well, I had no idea you are building a new studio, so, Congratulations ! I'm sure the new studio will enable you to improve your production of new libraries, I think it is a very wise decision.

Which makes me curious to know, how the acoustics of the studio would compare to the original recordings of the EWQLSO library?

Cheers.
