Default Update folders for IC and Play

I've noticed that when updating the Installation Center and Play via the IC, new folders for each are created in the default Windows download directory. I've looked for a way to redirect those downloads to a different location with no luck.

Any suggestions, or am I stuck with the default download locations?

Thanks
Terry (aka AZMountainGeek)

Play and the EW Installation Center are applications so they need to download/be installed to the boot drive and as such they will go to your Downloads folder. All other libraries can be pointed to a different location, but those are set.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the programs need to be installed into the standard Windows Program locations, but there's no reason the installation files couldn't be downloaded to a user-specified location and installed from there. Would help us keep things organized in the download folders without having to do cleanup afterwards. Will submit a feature suggestion.

You can download them from here instead if you prefer to set that location through your browser - http://www.soundsonline.com/Support?section=updates

That'll do as a workaround - thanks!
