Default Bb instruments in hollywood and symphonic orchestra?

Hi everyone

I'm a composer cloud subscriber and dabble in orchestral music. I couldn't find the answer to this online or in the manual so hoping someone can help me out.

Quite commonly in orchestral pieces there will be the Bb tuned instrument (particularly in woodwinds and brass). Does anyone know if those instruments in the packs are already transposed or recorded in Bb or will I have to play it as written and transpose down myself.

Thanks

Steve

The instruments are mapped to the sounding, non-transposed pitch - If you're trying to play a score that has transposed instruments in it, you would have to adjust for those transpositions.
